Senior Platform Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to architect and build the next generation of a high-volume, real-time communication platform, this full-time remote position will focus on developing production-grade microservices in Go, optimizing real-time telephony pipelines, and enhancing data engineering and analytics capabilities.
Key responsibilities:
- Architect, write, and maintain high-performance microservices in Go for a next-generation SaaS platform
- Build and optimize real-time voice and communication pipelines while managing high-concurrency SIP traffic
- Work with large-scale database architectures to ensure real-time reporting and dashboard responsiveness
Required qualifications:
- Professional experience in building large-scale, high-concurrency backend software in Go (Golang)
- Hands-on experience with real-time communications platforms and protocols such as FreeSWITCH and WebRTC
- Proven track record in building event-driven architectures using NATS, JetStream, or Apache Kafka
- Experience operating relational databases (PostgreSQL) and analytical databases (ClickHouse) at scale
- Strong understanding of SIP, WebRTC media streams, and core telephony concepts
