Senior Platform Engineer

Job Summary

Taking senior technical ownership of the AWS estate, the full-time remote Senior Platform Engineer will design and operate the multi-account architecture, author Terraform modules, and build consumable platform services while ensuring production readiness and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate AWS multi-account architecture, including networking and compute resources
• Author and maintain Terraform modules, establishing infrastructure-as-code standards for reproducibility and version control
• Manage AWS IAM roles, policies, and security controls, ensuring a secure and compliant environment

Required qualifications

• Six or more years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, primarily with AWS
• Production experience in authoring Terraform modules and establishing IaC standards
• Experience with container workloads using ECS, Fargate, or similar technologies
• Strong knowledge of AWS IAM, including roles, policies, and cross-account access patterns
• Demonstrated technical leadership and clear documentation habits
