Senior Platform Engineer
Job Summary
To establish and grow the Platform Engineering function, the full-time Senior Platform Engineer will improve and maintain multi-cloud infrastructure, enhance developer experience, and strengthen security and compliance, all while working remotely in the United States.
Key responsibilities
- Design and automate the maintenance of multi-cloud infrastructure across GCP and AWS
- Own and standardize developer tooling, pipelines, and internal processes to enhance developer velocity
- Implement best practices for security and compliance, ensuring robust infrastructure security measures are in place
Required qualifications
- 5-7+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, infrastructure, and platform engineering roles
- Deep hands-on expertise with cloud platforms (GCP and AWS) and tools such as Terraform and Kubernetes
- Strong experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and observability ecosystems
- Solid understanding of cloud security, IAM, and container security
- U.S. citizenship is required due to contract obligations with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs
