Senior Platform Engineer
Job Summary
To enhance hybrid infrastructure capabilities, the full-time Senior Platform Engineer will design, build, and optimize on-premises and cloud environments while focusing on automation and infrastructure-as-code practices in a 100% remote position.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain hybrid infrastructure platforms for public cloud and on-premises environments
- Develop reusable platform services for self-service provisioning and standardized infrastructure deployment
- Engineer and optimize hybrid cloud environments across VMware Cloud Foundation, Azure, and AWS
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years supporting enterprise-scale infrastructure and multi-cloud hyperscalers (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP)
- 5+ years working with Terraform and advanced understanding of Infrastructure-as-Code methodologies
- Deep experience designing, building, and operating CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows
- Experience building automation using Ansible, Bash, PowerShell, Python scripting, and REST APIs
- Understanding of cloud networking, DNS, cloud-enabled identity services, and security controls
