Senior Platform Engineer
Job Summary
To support a growing product engineering team, the full-time Senior Platform Engineer will manage and enhance Localize's technical infrastructure, focusing on scalability, reliability, and performance while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage Localize's infrastructure across AWS and Cloudflare
- Ensure the scalability, reliability, performance, and security of data stores like Redis and MongoDB
- Own and improve deployment and release processes, emphasizing automation and reliability
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of engineering experience, with at least 4 years in a Platform Engineer role
- Expertise in managing and optimizing infrastructure in AWS
- Experience with Redis and MongoDB, including configuration and monitoring
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as OpenTofu and Terragrunt
- Hands-on experience securing production infrastructure and supporting SOC 2 Type II compliance
