Senior Platform Engineer
Job Summary
To support the development of a new platform engineering function, the full-time Senior Platform Engineer will rearchitect and codify cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure, implement observability practices, and build an Internal Developer Platform, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Migrate existing AWS and Azure infrastructure to OpenTofu/Terraform and Ansible, establishing module standards and GitOps-based pipelines
- Design and implement a full observability stack and establish an SRE practice, including incident management and operational dashboards
- Deploy and maintain a developer portal, creating golden paths for developer workflows and managing CI/CD platform operations
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years in platform, infrastructure, or DevOps engineering with production ownership on AWS and/or Azure
- Deep proficiency in OpenTofu/Terraform, including module authoring and CI/CD integration
- Strong experience with Kubernetes operations, including EKS and/or AKS lifecycle management
- Hands-on observability experience with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog, including SLI/SLO definition
- Experience with CI/CD platforms, particularly GitHub Actions and reusable workflow design
