Senior Platform Engineer
Job Summary
To design and implement private datacenter Infrastructure-as-a-Service capabilities, the full-time Senior Platform Engineer will translate service architecture into automated infrastructure services, focusing on self-service networking and expanding into compute, storage, and load balancing.
Key responsibilities:
- Partner with Infrastructure Architect and leadership to implement the private cloud and IaaS strategy
- Drive the transition to controlled self-service and automated provisioning of infrastructure services
- Design and implement self-service infrastructure capabilities, including networking, compute, and storage services
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, network engineering, software engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, platform engineering, or related roles
- Strong hands-on knowledge of enterprise networking concepts and automation-driven infrastructure services
- Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar
- Experience with VMware vSphere or similar enterprise virtualization platforms
