Job Summary
Leading the design and automation of cloud platforms, the full-time Senior Platform Engineer will focus on building secure, scalable solutions for federal systems while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and evolution of cloud platforms to meet federal mission needs
- Own Infrastructure-as-Code standards and implement CI/CD pipelines for software delivery
- Mentor engineers and establish platform engineering standards and best practices
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 9+ years of professional experience in DevOps, platform engineering, SRE, or infrastructure engineering
- Strong hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Linux, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions
- Proven experience managing Infrastructure-as-Code with Terraform or similar tools
- Experience designing and operating workloads in a cloud environment, preferably AWS
