Job Summary
To support a growing Platform Engineering team, the full-time Senior Platform Engineer will manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code, scale Ruby on Rails applications, and implement monitoring tools to enhance observability in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and optimize Fleetio's cloud infrastructure and Ruby on Rails stack
- Perform code reviews and debug production issues to ensure performance standards
- Collaborate with feature engineering teams to safely build, deploy, and operate new features
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience with AWS
- 3+ years of experience with Kubernetes
- Proficient in Infrastructure as Code tools, particularly Terraform
- Strong understanding of cloud networking fundamentals
- Experience with Ruby on Rails or similar web application frameworks
