Job Summary
To enhance the core infrastructure of Elasticsearch, the full-time Senior Platform Productivity Engineer will contribute to impactful projects, improve developer productivity through automation, and design scalable features and APIs while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Contributing to large projects that evolve Elasticsearch's core infrastructure
- Identifying automation opportunities to enhance developer workflows
- Designing and implementing new features and APIs while resolving performance issues
Required qualifications
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD systems and practices
- Proficiency in core Java, including data structures and concurrency constructs
- Experience crafting APIs and understanding tradeoffs
- Knowledge of Java build tools, preferably Gradle
- Experience leading large-scale projects across engineering teams
