Job Summary
Building a core AI platform for a new trading experience, the remote Senior Platform Software Engineer will develop a high-performance backend in Rust, design robust APIs, and partner with product teams to enhance user experience.
Key responsibilities
- Develop a high-performance backend supporting streaming responses and low-latency tool execution
- Design and implement robust APIs and runtime components for AI capabilities
- Collaborate with product and frontend teams to create effective AI-native user experiences
Required qualifications
- At least eight (8) years of experience with strong proficiency in any programming language
- Strong knowledge of systems programming fundamentals, including concurrency and distributed systems patterns
- Experience in designing and operating production APIs/services with a focus on observability and security
- Ability to define platform requirements and deliver architecture end-to-end
- High degree of self-motivation and a willingness to tackle unfamiliar challenges
