Senior Platform Specialist
Job Summary
Supporting athenaOne applications for Privia Medical Group clinicians, the full-time Senior Platform Specialist will manage complex issues, lead initiatives, and ensure project success while working closely with end-users and the Clinical IT team.
Key responsibilities
- Act as a Clinical Informatics subject matter expert, assisting users to improve efficiencies with athenaNet technologies
- Own medium to large projects, leading planning sessions and managing project progress while coordinating with stakeholders
- Train employees and end-users on athena functionality, ensuring proper utilization of the EHR and maintaining internal process documentation
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience preferred
- 2+ years of clinical and/or managed care experience
- 2+ years of experience with EHR configuration and customization, with a strong preference for athenaNet
- Understanding of clinical terminology and ambulatory healthcare operations
- Experience using Google Suite or equivalent software
