Senior Policy Development Analyst

Job Summary

Leading the development and implementation of health plan policies, the full-time Senior Policy Development Analyst will manage research processes, policy recommendations, and oversee implementation efforts in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Leads the research and development of health plan policies, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and strategies
• Oversees the implementation of approved policy changes and coordinates with affected management and functional areas
• Provides support and resources for projects requiring extensive policy expertise, while staying current on industry practices and regulations

Required qualifications

• Four years of policy experience
• Two years of experience in a medical benefits or insurance setting, with a strong understanding of claims and eligibility issues
• Experience managing projects that require strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Bachelor's Degree in a business or healthcare-related field preferred
• Intermediate skills in computer-based word processing and spreadsheets
