Senior Power BI Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Senior Power BI & Data Visualization Engineer, this remote position will focus on integrating with client teams or working on FullStack product teams to design and deliver high-end dashboard interfaces and data visualizations.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop advanced Power BI reports with a strong emphasis on UI/UX and data visualization best practices
- Integrate data from various sources, including SQL databases and cloud data warehouses, ensuring performance tuning for large-scale reports
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet their business intelligence needs
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in software development and business intelligence with Power BI
- Successful completion of a four-year college degree
- Extensive experience with DAX, Power Query (M), and complex star-schema architecture design
- Proven ability to design high-end dashboard interfaces focused on usability and layout
- Experience working on Agile/Scrum teams with large, complex systems
