Senior Power BI Engineer
Job Summary
To support a growing team, the remote Senior Power BI & Data Visualization Engineer will design and build high-end dashboard interfaces, integrate data from various sources, and enhance user experience while collaborating with clients and internal teams.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop advanced Power BI dashboards with a focus on UI/UX and data visualization best practices
- Integrate data from diverse sources such as SQL databases and cloud data warehouses to support business intelligence efforts
- Collaborate with client teams or FullStack product teams to ensure successful project delivery and performance tuning of Power BI reports
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in software development and business intelligence with Power BI
- Successful completion of a four-year college degree
- Extensive experience in DAX, Power Query (M), and complex star-schema architecture design
- Proven ability to design high-quality dashboard interfaces with a strong focus on usability
- Solid background in performance tuning for large-scale Power BI reports
