Senior Pre-Registration Specialist

Job Summary

To enhance patient experience, the full-time Senior Pre-Registration Specialist will manage the pre-registration process by verifying patient demographics and insurance information, while working remotely to ensure accuracy and efficiency in patient data collection.

Key responsibilities

• Performs pre-registration by contacting patients to verify demographics, insurance, and financial information
• Utilizes Benefit Collection tools to provide cost estimates and collects out-of-pocket expenses prior to services
• Documents all interactions with patients and insurance representatives, ensuring compliance with eligibility and pre-authorization requirements

Required qualifications

• 2 years of clerical experience in healthcare revenue cycle operations such as billing, patient accounting, or registration
• Bilingual skills are strongly preferred, with some positions requiring them
• An approved equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
• Experience working in EPIC is preferred
