Senior Pre-Registration Specialist

Job Summary

To enhance patient experience and streamline operations, the full-time Senior Pre-Registration Specialist will manage patient demographic verification, insurance eligibility checks, and financial counseling connections while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Performs pre-registration by contacting patients to verify demographics, insurance, and financial information
• Utilizes Benefit Collection tools to estimate out-of-pocket expenses and attempts to collect payments prior to services
• Documents all interactions with patients and insurance representatives while ensuring compliance with department policies

Required qualifications

• 2 years of clerical experience in healthcare revenue cycle operations, such as billing, patient accounting, or registration
• Bilingual skills are strongly preferred and may be required for some positions
• An approved equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
• Experience working with EPIC is preferred
