Job Summary
Supporting the Higher Education sector, the remote Senior Pre-Sales Systems Engineer will develop deep insights into institutional drivers, connect technology to measurable outcomes, and collaborate with account managers and partners to create compelling solutions for R1 research universities.
Key responsibilities
- Develop an understanding of research priorities and decision-making processes within higher education institutions
- Connect technology solutions to measurable research outcomes and build comprehensive business cases for clients
- Lead technical evaluations and secure technical wins through effective communication with diverse stakeholders
Required qualifications
- 8 or more years of relevant experience in technology, solution design, and customer-facing roles
- Pre-sales or customer-facing technical experience, particularly in higher education or research computing
- Familiarity with HPC and AI environments, including data management and relevant technical infrastructures
- Proven track record of selling on value and connecting technology to business outcomes
- BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience
