Job Summary
Defining and leading the technical strategy for advanced autonomy capabilities, the full-time Senior Principal Autonomy Engineer will focus on the development, integration, and fielding of high-performance systems in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Define the technical vision and development roadmap for autonomy capabilities, integrating RF sensing, perception, and vehicle control
- Lead the maturation of advanced radar and RF signal processing algorithms, ensuring optimal performance and reliability
- Serve as the senior technical authority, guiding high-stakes trade studies and risk resolution throughout the system lifecycle
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline
- 15 or more years of professional experience in autonomy, radar, RF sensing, signal processing, or related technical fields
- Demonstrated technical leadership in the architecture and development of advanced autonomous and RF systems
- Expert knowledge of radar and RF signal processing techniques, including target detection and tracking
- Substantial hands-on experience with MATLAB and Python, along with algorithm development in C, C++, or DSP environments
