Senior Principal Engineer - AI

Job Summary

To support a growing demand for advanced AI solutions, the remote full-time Senior Principal Engineer - AI will set the technical vision for AIaaS, define model-training strategies, and establish data governance standards while acting as the final technical authority for complex AI challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Set the multi-year technical vision and act as the final technical authority for AI-related challenges
• Define and own the enterprise model-training strategy for traditional AI/ML and LLMs, including hands-on model training and evaluation
• Establish standards for training data sourcing, cleaning, versioning, and governance, while architecting large-scale data and feature pipelines

Required Qualifications

• 15+ years of AI/ML software engineering experience with a focus on enterprise-scale production AI solutions
• Hands-on experience with training and fine-tuning traditional ML models and LLMs, including advanced techniques like QLoRA and PEFT
• Strong expertise in distributed systems, cloud-native architecture, and large-scale data pipelines
• Experience with dataset management, data quality, and training-data governance
• Proficiency in developing reusable AI platforms, APIs, and multi-agent orchestration frameworks
