Job Summary
To support the Commercial AI Center of Excellence, the remote full-time Senior Principal Engineer - AI Governance will define and operationalize AI evaluation frameworks, design technical controls for governance, and lead model validation efforts to ensure compliance and accuracy in AI systems.
Key responsibilities:
- Define and evolve AI evaluation frameworks, including metrics for accuracy and compliance
- Design and implement technical controls for AI governance and auditability
- Lead model validation and error analysis to improve AI system performance
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline; advanced degree preferred
- 15 or more years of experience in AI/ML engineering
- Expertise in AI evaluation methodologies and quality assurance for ML systems
- Strong coding skills in Python and experience with ML frameworks
- Deep experience with model evaluation, experimentation, and metrics design
