Senior Privacy Engineer
Job Summary
To support the implementation of privacy controls and technologies, the full-time remote Senior Privacy Engineer will design, maintain, and enhance privacy solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with privacy regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement privacy controls and privacy-enhancing technologies across products and services
- Embed privacy by design into the software development lifecycle through architecture reviews and technical guidance
- Build and maintain privacy automation, including consent management and data subject rights workflows
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Security, or a related technical field; Master's degree preferred
- 6+ years of software, security, or privacy engineering experience, with at least 4 years focused on privacy engineering
- Strong programming experience in languages such as Python, Java, Go, or JavaScript/TypeScript
- Experience implementing privacy by design and technical privacy controls within modern software development practices
- Working knowledge of privacy regulations and frameworks including HIPAA, GDPR, and CCPA/CPRA
