Senior Privacy Specialist (Iowa)

Job Summary

Serving as the primary privacy consultant and business partner for Principal Securities, the full-time Senior Privacy Specialist (Iowa) will manage privacy program activities, ensure compliance with privacy regulations, and promote privacy awareness across the organization in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Lead ongoing privacy program activities and ensure adherence to organizational policies and procedures
• Serve as the primary point of contact for business privacy matters and advise stakeholders on privacy requirements and risks
• Oversee privacy incident reporting and partner with stakeholders for effective incident response and risk mitigation

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of professional experience leading privacy programs or governance activities
• Strong knowledge of state and federal privacy regulations and privacy rights requests
• Demonstrated experience conducting Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) and Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs)
• Proven ability to influence and collaborate effectively across teams and business functions
