Senior Process Engineer
Job Summary
Leading the development and optimization of boule manufacturing processes, the Senior Process Engineer will work full-time in the Canton facility, focusing on solving complex process challenges and enhancing product quality while supporting hybrid work arrangements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead development and implementation of boule forming and thermal processes to address product-specific challenges
- Drive structured root cause investigations into defect modes and identify underlying failure mechanisms
- Develop process solutions to reduce defect rates and improve yield for high-value product lines
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Materials, Chemical, or related field)
- 8-12 years of experience in specialty glass or advanced materials manufacturing environments
- Demonstrated experience in developing custom manufacturing processes and leading root cause investigations
- Strong analytical capability with experience in structured problem-solving methodologies
- US Citizenship required
