Senior Process Technician

Job Summary

To support the packaging of quantum processing units, the full-time Senior Process Technician will execute procedures for cleaning, assembling, and testing delicate components while operating complex equipment in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Execute procedures for cleaning, assembling, bonding, inspecting, and testing packaged ion traps and related hardware
• Operate complex packaging equipment and handle small, fragile components with precision
• Collect process and test data, providing first-pass interpretation and escalating deviations from procedures

Required qualifications

• Roughly 2+ years of hands-on experience in high-tech manufacturing or precision assembly environments
• Demonstrated fine motor skills in handling small components, including professional microscope work
• Ability to read and follow blueprints and operating procedures accurately
• Experience operating and troubleshooting automated equipment such as wire bonders and reflow ovens
• A 2-year technical degree or higher is preferred
