Senior Procurement Director

Job Summary

Leading global vendor contracting and management, the full-time Senior Procurement Director will own the procurement function from strategy to complex supplier agreements, collaborating across finance, legal, and business operations, with the flexibility to work onsite in Mountain View, CA or remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Build and execute a global procurement strategy aligned with research and clinical operations
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex agreements, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
• Oversee procure-to-pay processes and deliver spend analytics and KPI reporting to leadership

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive procurement experience in biotech, pharmaceutical, or life sciences companies, including 5+ years in a leadership role
• Significant legal experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts independently
• Demonstrated expertise with life sciences agreements, including CRO and clinical supply agreements
• Working knowledge of GxP, FDA, and EMA requirements as they apply to suppliers
• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, life sciences, or a related field; MBA preferred
