Senior Product Data Scientist
Job Summary
Partnering closely with the Data Cloud organization, the full-time Senior Product Data Scientist will serve as a business analytics domain expert, providing strategic insights and translating complex data into actionable narratives in a remote work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical and strategic thought leadership for Workday Data Cloud, serving as the business analytics domain expert
- Collaborate cross-functionally to develop comprehensive views of the business, connecting demand growth, sales pipeline, and product usage
- Translate complex data models into compelling narratives and visualizations that drive organizational clarity and decision-making
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience with advanced analytics, statistical modeling, and/or data science
- 5+ years of experience in business/product analytics or applied data science, ideally in a product or platform organization
- Strong SQL and data-modeling skills, with experience working in raw or partially documented datasets
- Degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or Economics
- Experience with enterprise BI platforms (e.g., Tableau, Sigma) and familiarity with cloud data pipelines/ETL concepts
