Senior Product Definition Engineer
Job Summary
Remote and focused on innovative engineering solutions, the full-time Senior Product Definition Engineer will apply established standards and advanced techniques to develop accurate 3D models and comprehensive engineering documentation packages while supporting product design reviews and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Utilize advanced scan-to-CAD techniques to convert raw point cloud data or .stl mesh files into accurate, manufacturable 3D models within Siemens NX
- Develop and manage complete engineering documentation packages, including 3D CAD models, 2D drawings, and detailed specifications, adhering to configuration control protocols
- Support product design reviews and coordinate work with project, engineering, and manufacturing teams
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or a minimum of six years of relevant professional experience
- Advanced user of Siemens NX/Teamcenter environments
- Knowledge of industry best practices (ASME, ISO) for engineering drawings and PMI implementation
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and design intent notes
- Familiarity with aerospace industry standards, regulations, and best practices
