Senior Product Engineer
Job Summary
Experienced in product development, the full-time Senior Product Engineer will take ownership of transforming ambiguous ideas into reliable production-ready software, collaborating across teams in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the entire product lifecycle from problem definition to design, implementation, and iteration, including experiments that may evolve into standalone products
- Engage with users and stakeholders to identify core problems, determine viable solutions, and make informed architectural decisions
- Develop backend services, APIs, and frontend experiences while leveraging existing Semaphore systems and maintaining high standards of quality and security
Required qualifications
- Proven track record of independently shipping significant software products or features
- Strong product and engineering judgment, with a focus on system design, reliability, and maintainability
- Solid understanding of backend systems, APIs, and infrastructure concepts
- Ability to work in a polyglot environment with familiarity in technologies such as Go, Elixir, Ruby, and React
- Experience with AI-assisted development and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a remote team setting
