Senior Product Manager, Payments

Job Summary

Leading the payments mission-aligned team remotely, the full-time Senior Product Manager, Payments will manage the payments roadmap, write detailed requirements for engineering, and drive delivery while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance payment experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to and prioritize the payments roadmap, collaborating with the Head of Payments
• Write clear PRDs and business requirements for engineering teams, covering critical failure paths and reconciliation impacts
• Lead daily planning and execution of the payments MAT, ensuring backlog alignment with the roadmap and managing stakeholder communications

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Product Management, with at least 1 year in payments, fintech, checkout, or billing products
• Working knowledge of modern payments stacks, including gateways, processors, and alternative payment methods
• Experience with one-time payment mechanics or recurring billing mechanics, demonstrating a willingness to learn
• A proven track record of shipping features end to end in collaboration with engineering teams
• Technical and data fluency to analyze performance data and understand technical tradeoffs
