Senior Product Manager, Payroll

Job Summary

Owning the payroll platform modernization, the full-time remote Senior Product Manager, Payroll will manage the transition from legacy systems to new operational tools, ensuring compliance and data integrity while collaborating with engineering leadership on the payroll data model.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the modernization of the payroll platform by sequencing migration steps and ensuring no disruptions to payroll operations
• Coordinate compliance and audit disciplines for payroll systems, including permission granularity and data retention policies
• Develop and maintain a payroll roadmap, providing regular updates to leadership and ensuring operational readiness

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in HCM, payroll, or related platforms
• Experience coordinating with multiple teams on system contracts and integrations
• Technical proficiency to discuss database schemas, APIs, and migration mechanics with engineering teams
• Familiarity with compliance requirements in regulated environments
• Strong evidence-based decision-making skills, with a focus on measuring outcomes before assertions
