Senior Product Owner
Job Summary
As a fully remote opportunity, the Senior Product Owner will own the product roadmap, translate complex business needs into actionable requirements, and ensure alignment of features with customer value and organizational goals.
Key responsibilities
- Translate organizational strategy into actionable product features and maintain a detailed backlog of user stories and enhancements
- Lead backlog refinement and coordinate with development teams to ensure efficient sprint planning and execution
- Gather and synthesize feedback from business lines to document clear Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and validate deliverables through UAT
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Empower Mortgage/HELOC loan origination systems and vendor ecosystems
- Proven ability to prioritize and manage backlogs for loan origination systems, including vendor collaboration
- Deep understanding of mortgage/HELOC workflows, compliance requirements, and integration points with downstream systems
