Senior Product Security Engineer

Job Summary

Passionate about partnering with engineers, the full-time Senior Product Security Engineer will assess security risks of new products and features while working remotely as part of the Secure Design team.

Key responsibilities

• Threat model application designs and provide security risk assessments, collaborating with product teams to develop secure systems
• Cultivate a security culture by mentoring engineering teams and overseeing the vulnerability management program
• Build security tooling and automations to scale the Product Security team's practices and integrate security into engineering workflows

Required qualifications

• Experience leading architectural changes or complex cross-team efforts to mitigate security vulnerabilities
• Ability to communicate security topics and provide actionable direction to product teams
• Record of partnering with internal engineering teams to address security challenges across the stack
• Working knowledge of modern development concepts, including virtualized environments and containerization
• 3+ years of experience guiding software teams on secure architecture design is preferred
