Senior Product Security Engineer

Job Summary

To enhance product security, the full-time Senior Product Security Engineer will systematically identify and remediate vulnerabilities across a remote environment, collaborating with engineering teams while leveraging automation and security best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Build and manage a recurring product security review program, including threat modeling and code audits
• Own vulnerability intake and remediation processes, including triaging findings and verifying fixes
• Improve application security testing through automation and integration of various security tools

Required qualifications

• Strong experience in application security engineering with proficiency in Python and TypeScript
• Ability to identify vulnerabilities that conventional scanners may overlook
• Experience with security automation tools such as SAST, DAST, and container scanning
• Understanding of cloud security, particularly within AWS environments
• Proven ability to collaborate across teams and drive security initiatives to completion
