Senior Product Security Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the security architecture and implementation of Bits Code, the full-time Senior Product Security Engineer will work remotely to shape product security by collaborating with cross-functional teams, building threat models, and ensuring secure software delivery.

Key responsibilities:

• Own the security architecture and implementation of Bits Code from design through production
• Collaborate with engineering, product, infrastructure, and security teams to identify risks and shape the product
• Build threat models for new and existing agent risks, and guide processes to ship secure software quickly

Required qualifications:

• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or 5+ years of professional experience in product security or related areas
• Experience securing systems across complex trust boundaries
• Proficient in building and operating full stack systems at scale
• Familiarity with security risks in agentic systems and experience designing against them
• Ability to make pragmatic security trade-offs
