Job Summary
To support project financial management, the full-time remote Senior Project Control Specialist will develop and maintain cost control for larger projects, preparing monthly financial deliverables and ensuring compliance with accounting principles.
Key responsibilities:
- Interface with program managers and finance teams to address operational and financial requests
- Prepare monthly financial deliverables and analyze program costs against budget and forecasts
- Maintain accurate project forecasts and participate in quarterly forecasting and Annual Operating Plan development
Required qualifications:
- 4-year degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics and 5-8 years of related work experience
- Experience with various types of contracts, including firm-fixed-price and cost-plus contracts
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Experience supporting multiple programs and functional leads simultaneously
