Senior Project Estimator
Job Summary
To support a project management delivery team, the full-time Senior Project Estimator will develop accurate construction cost estimates from conceptual design to final construction documents, while working remotely in the US.
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed construction cost estimates and support the development of an overall Project Cost Plan
- Research material and labor pricing, produce quantity take-offs, and maintain cost benchmarking information
- Interface with clients and project management teams to define cost requirements and lead value engineering reviews
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical area of study
- Minimum 3 years of related experience in estimating
- RICS or CIOB accreditation preferred
- Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of estimating software such as OST
- Ability to read and understand architectural drawings and knowledge of construction practices preferred
