Senior Project Estimator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Project Estimator who will be responsible for performing highly technical estimating evaluations for complex projects and outage activities in a safe, efficient, and economical manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop conceptual estimates and support planning and engineering groups in the development of all levels of estimates
• Interface with various stakeholders to initiate and scope estimate efforts, review designs and specifications, and track equipment pricing trends
• Implement and maintain standardized processes and procedures for estimating, and provide technical direction and guidance for estimate development

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering, or related field
• A minimum of four years of experience in power generation and/or transmission system estimating, engineering, design, or construction execution
• Experience with estimating software packages, preferably Primavera
• Strong knowledge of current market pricing trends and construction execution for capital projects
• Ability to lead a team, demonstrate outstanding communication skills, and possess strategic thinking and planning abilities
