Senior Project Manager

Job Summary

Leading all phases of program development, the full-time salaried Senior Project Manager will coordinate cross-functional teams and collaborate with various departments to ensure successful program execution and delivery at the Auburn Hills Technical Center.

Key responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams through product and process development phases, ensuring successful project execution and launches
• Manage project scope, timing, budget, deliverables, and profitability targets while driving accountability across the project team
• Serve as the primary interface with customers, providing updates and resolving program-related issues

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
• Experience leading or participating in automotive product launches within a cross-functional project environment
• Strong project management and engineering background with the ability to manage schedules, budgets, risks, and project financials
• Proven problem-solving, organizational, and influential leadership skills
• Advanced English communication skills; Spanish and/or German language skills are a plus
