Job Summary
Leading Agile delivery for Department of Veterans Affairs technology modernization initiatives, the full-time Senior Project Manager/Scrum Master will manage integrated project planning, stakeholder coordination, and disciplined delivery management in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Own integrated workstream plans, sprint cadence, backlog health, and delivery status in Jira
- Facilitate sprint planning, daily coordination, reviews, retrospectives, and backlog refinement
- Prepare stakeholder status reports, delivery forecasts, and issue and risk escalations
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in project management, business administration, information systems, computer science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 7+ years of project or program delivery experience, including hands-on Agile team management
- PMP or PMI-ACP certification; Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) preferred
- Experience leading Agile delivery with Jira Cloud and managing workflows and dependencies
- Ability to obtain and maintain a favorable Public Trust determination and meet federal vetting requirements
