Senior Project Manager with GIS
Job Summary
Leading a complex, large-scale GIS modernization initiative, the full-time Senior Project Manager with GIS experience will manage the project from the design phase through implementation and closeout in a 100% remote capacity.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the GIS technology initiative through business case approval, implementation, go-live, and project closeout
- Quickly assess project status, identify challenges, and develop a realistic implementation roadmap
- Coordinate work across various teams and manage project governance within a structured Waterfall SDLC environment
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of IT/Technology Project Management experience, with 10+ years preferred
- Demonstrated experience managing GIS-related technology projects
- Proven success in delivering complex, large-scale enterprise technology/software projects
- Strong hands-on proficiency with Microsoft Project and experience managing detailed project schedules
- Experience working within stage-gate/project governance processes
