Senior Protection & Control Engineer
Job Summary
Leading the design of high-voltage substations, the full-time Senior Protection & Control Engineer will develop innovative engineering solutions, mentor junior engineers, and ensure project success while working remotely or in a hybrid capacity from various U.S. locations.
Key responsibilities
- Design substation protection and control systems, including one-line and three-line diagrams, and SCADA systems
- Develop protective relaying and control system designs for transmission and distribution substations
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and clients to ensure successful project execution and compliance with QA/QC processes
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited institution
- 7-10 years of experience in Substation Protection & Control design engineering
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Strong document management and organization skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
