Job Summary
Leading medium- to high-voltage substation protection and control design projects, the remote Senior Protection & Control Engineer (PE) will develop comprehensive design deliverables and coordinate with multiple engineering disciplines while mentoring junior staff.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead detailed Protection & Control designs for both greenfield and brownfield substation projects
- Develop complete P&C design deliverables, including one-line diagrams, AC/DC schematics, and control logic
- Coordinate with SCADA, physical, and civil design teams while providing technical support during relay testing and substation energization
Required qualifications:
- 7+ years of professional experience in substation protection and control design
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Valid Electrical Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Proficient in developing protection one-lines and panel wiring diagrams
- Strong understanding of control schemes, relay logic, and SCADA integration
