Senior Public Health Grant Strategist

Job Summary

To support the Grant Management Office, the full-time Senior Public Health Grant Strategist will provide strategic advisory services focused on optimizing federal grant acquisition and modernizing grant management practices, working remotely with a core schedule of 8 am to 5 pm CST.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and enhance federal grant acquisition processes while ensuring compliance with 2 CFR 200 and state procurement laws
• Design and implement automated Smartsheet workflows and executive dashboards to streamline grant management operations
• Deliver high-level policy briefings and conduct comprehensive grant readiness assessments for state health agencies

Required qualifications

• Master's degree in Public Health, Health Care Administration, Public Administration, or a related field
• 15+ years of experience in public health grant strategy and federal grant portfolio management
• Proven experience with PeopleSoft Financials and Smartsheet workflow integration
• Direct experience working with state health agencies, particularly the Oklahoma State Department of Health
• Expertise in federal grant systems and compliance requirements, including 2 CFR 200
