Senior Public Relations Manager

Job Summary

Owning the earned media strategy and execution, the full-time Senior Public Relations Manager will lead media relations, drive bylines and op-eds, and manage trendjacking efforts in a fully remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a proactive earned media strategy, turning product launches and research findings into pitch-ready stories
• Build and maintain relationships with reporters in the tech and nonprofit sectors, managing media relations and pitching efforts
• Write and place bylines, op-eds, and press releases, collaborating with executives to craft media-ready content under tight deadlines

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in public relations or media relations, preferably in B2B, SaaS, or technology sectors
• Proven track record of securing earned media placements and understanding which stories to pursue
• Established relationships with journalists and editors in the technology and nonprofit sectors
• Strong writing skills across various formats, including pitches, bylines, op-eds, and press releases
• Familiarity with AI tools for pitch personalization and media monitoring, alongside the ability to maintain human relationships for successful placements
