Job Summary

Leading the development of presale client deliverables for meetings and events, the full-time Senior Purchasing Specialist will manage creative program development, sourcing, procurement, and negotiation, while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate large client projects, ensuring consistency in deliverables and effective communication among team members and suppliers
• Develop appealing programs that maximize client budgets while incorporating innovative themes and industry trends
• Negotiate competitive rates and execute contracts, representing client interests and enhancing value through supplier relationships

Required qualifications

• Four-year degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum six years of industry experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and advanced PowerPoint
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
• Ability to travel and attend presentations as needed
