Senior Python Developer
Job Summary
Taking ownership of a business-critical Python platform, the full-time Senior Python Developer will develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Python and Flask, while working remotely from Portugal.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Python and Flask
- Design and implement asynchronous processing and background job workflows using Celery and RabbitMQ
- Collaborate with product, frontend, and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
Required qualifications
- 4+ years of professional software development experience with Python as the main language
- Hands-on experience building REST APIs with Flask
- Experience with background jobs and asynchronous processing using Celery and RabbitMQ
- Hands-on experience with MongoDB, ideally through PyMongo
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
