Job Summary
To support the development of machine learning applications, the full-time Senior Python Engineer will design, develop, and maintain core features across various libraries while working remotely and engaging with the open-source community.
Key responsibilities
- Designing, developing, and maintaining core features across the team's libraries for scalability and reliability
- Architecting complex Python projects and frameworks that serve as foundational tools for the ML community
- Growing early-stage libraries by defining API surfaces, writing documentation, and driving community adoption
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field
- 5+ years of professional Python development experience
- Experience architecting complex Python projects or frameworks
- A track record of taking early-stage libraries or products from first users to broad adoption
- Professional experience with JavaScript or TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks such as React or Svelte
