Job Summary
Taking full ownership of backend features, the remote contract Senior Python Engineer will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services while managing integrations with KYC providers, geolocation services, and payment methods.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services using Python and Django
- Build and maintain integrations with external systems, ensuring smooth operation and user experience
- Implement observability across integration flows, including monitoring, logging, and alerting
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of development experience with Python as the primary language
- Proven experience integrating third-party APIs, particularly in payments and KYC
- Strong fundamentals in algorithms, data structures, and concurrency
- Experience in architecture design of highly loaded and scalable solutions
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotations
