Senior QA Automation Engineer

Job Summary

To support the development of the JTAC Virtual Trainer, a remote contractor Senior QA Automation Engineer will design and maintain automated testing frameworks for Unity-based VR applications, ensuring quality and performance across various hardware platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks for Unity-based simulation applications
• Develop and execute Play Mode, Edit Mode, and integration tests using the Unity Test Framework and NUnit
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a QA Automation Engineer
• 3+ years of experience in defense, aerospace, or DoD simulation environments
• Deep experience with Unity and the Unity Test Framework
• Strong programming skills in C# and Python
• Hands-on experience testing VR systems
